Philip Andrew
Parker
Bass Player, Vocals, Guitars
Voted Most Likely to Wear Moose Antlers On Stage!!
Andy is the band's Founding Father, and the conductor. Andy is the glue that keeps us together and the
encyclopedia who can remember every lyric, every change and every chord! (of course he does make mistakes but it's been a few years!) Andy is an easy going, quiet guy but on stage he comes alive. Andy sets the rhythm and keeps it true all night. Andy
always has a positive attitude and keeps everyone around him mellow.
Andy (also called Phil) is a GIFTED musician, and excellent
guitarist, who plays bass for some reason. (Just kidding) Andy
can play every instrument in the band and a few that aren't in
the band yet, (like the Kazoo). He writes music and lyrics,
and has published some of them with his former band Mortal
Measure.
About P.A.P.'s past:
1968 - Picked up first guitar (tennis racket) at age 4
1973 - J P Ryon 4th grade Chorus
1976 - Started taking piano lessons
1978 - Pappa Moose gave P.A.P. Moose his first guitar;
started composing music immediately!
Andy has always had the ability to hear anything and play
it! He has gotten even better as time progressed! He jammed
with various groups in Calvert, Arlington and Prince
George's Counties, until someone informed him it might be
easier to get grounded into a band by playing bass. Andy got
a bass guitar in 1986, and jammed with Rick Amman for a
while.

In January 1987, (while working at a courier company), he
overheard the dispatcher (Smudge from band #6) tell someone
how he did an effect on a bass so the bass would keep
playing on one pedal while he played another guitar.
(Basically he played two guitars at the same time)... Andy
mentioned that he played bass, and was invited to jam with
the band.
Here is a partial list of the bands Andy has been involved
in:

group didn't last. When we played out everyone complimented
us."
If I've forgotten anyone's names and you know them, send us a
Moose Mail!

homes (preferably haunted), a good book (especially

King) & Susie

Susie happy, makes me happy!" & "Better late than
